80GHz Radar (FMCW) Water Level Sensor: Radar Type River Water Level Transmitter
Measuring the water level of a river is not difficult. Having a tape measure or measuring rod is all you need. However, water level measurements in rivers usually need to be taken at regular intervals, and the water level in a river can change continuously from season to season, even minute by minute. Fortunately,
80GHz Radar (FMCW) Water Level Sensor can accurately and precisely measure water levels over time under different conditions.
Measuring principle of 80GHz Radar (FMCW) Water Level Sensor
80GHz Radar (FMCW) Water Level Sensor is a kind of water level instrument which adopts fast pulse radar technology to achieve water level measurement, the measurement is not affected by temperature gradient, water flow velocity, sand content in flowing water, pollutants and sediments in water, it has the feature of completely non-contact, and at the same time, it is higher than the mechanical or pressure water level meter in measurement accuracy, it has a strong application demand in the inconvenience of constructing the well and the need of high precision data.
80GHz Radar (FMCW) Water Level Sensor adopts microwave pulse modulation system, adopts nanosecond narrow pulse working mode, through the radar antenna to the target transmits the pulse, after receiving the target reflected echo, compares the time difference between the transmitting pulse and the echo pulse, gets the target distance information. The electromagnetic wave transmission time t is obtained from the calibrated start and stop signals, and according to the speed of light (c), the distance value (D) from the target to the radar can be obtained, D = c × t/2
